William SHAT on another classic song
After ruining a metal classic, William Shatner felt the need to go for another classic song which appeals to many more people, probably because he thought insulting just metalheads simply wasn’t enough.
If you have the stomach, watch the video for his cover of Queen‘s “Bohemian Rhapsody.”
To say that Mr. Mercury is rolling in his grave would be a huge understatement.
Iron “Shatner” Man
Remember this? It was Shatner‘s cover of ‘Iron Man.’ And if you’re thinking right now: “Damn, I wish I could see a video of Shatner ruining this song” — You’re in luck!
There is video footage now, which you’ll find after the jump.
He sounds as bad as Ozzy, I’ll give him that. Maybe he should join Black Sabbath.
Shit Shatner sings
Yesterday Revolver magazine premiered William Shatner‘s collaboration with Zakk Wylde, cover of Sabbath‘s Iron Man, and since we’ve been too busy being too awesome, we’re posting it today. But hey, it’s never too late to make fun of people, right?
Speaking of which, I’m not going to do it. I mean, it’s obvious as hell he’s either trolling or being super naive. And you know what? It’s the first of those two, which makes you naive for thinking it could be anything else. About the song, you can hear it bellow if you really want to, and see the album cover for Seeking Major Tom (coming out next month) after the jump.
Weak Recap: Third time’s a charm
Another week in Metal has gone by, and your favorite Metal site, Dose of Metal, is back to give you an awesome recap of the week. Maybe you missed something, maybe you were too busy having a life and spending time with a real girlfriend to keep up to date. Luckily for you though, there are virgins like myself, that have nothing better to do than spend every waking moment of my life on this site.
So this week, I shall be interviewing Simo. He’s awesome, he’s a place in Finland (According to Wikipedia), and my interview with himself can be found after the jump.
Bang your head, Scotty
William Shatner is not only known for his role of Captain Kirk’s mask in the Halloween movie franchise. He’s pretty much not known at all, because Star Trek got a reboot and our target audience grew up listening to Linkin Park and watching Friends, the greatest sci-fi TV show of all times. Seriously, a guy like Ross would never bang Rachel in real life.
I kid (about William Shatner). He’s a cool dude, and he just got cooler in our little black book. Why? Well, he’s making a new album (and yes, he makes albums), one themed around heavy metal and space (just like Fear Factory, they make heavy metal and take a lot of space), and it’s announced members of Black Label Society, Queen and Deep Purple are involved. He will also receive an Honorary Headbanger award at the Revolver Golden Gods award. What a guy.
