Young kids and instruments
This kid’s got style. Look at him not even looking at the kit. He’s got the demeanor of a professional drummer, but the sound of an awful one. He’d kill in Metallica.
But fail in any other band.

Metal goes acoustic 3
So back we are again, here for another dose of Metal goes acoustic. The last couple of times I’ve treated you to some Machine Head covers, so I’m going to change things up a little this time.
For the third edition, I’m presenting a beautiful female sang, acoustic, rendition of Korn‘s ADIDAS. This version is absolutely amazing, from the slowly strung guitar chords, to the young girl’s fantastic vocals. Just tell me you can’t hear the true emotion in her voice as she sings the words “all day I dream about fucking.” It’s like Katy Perry song, with the song transformed into a Pop classic, but with some truly thought proving lyrics that you don’t expect from the Pop genre.
Overall, I would love to rate this cover, but there isn’t a single rating system that would fairly access the song’s brilliance.
Young kids and instruments
Ladies and gentlemen, the “Stairway To Heaven” solo. One of the best solos of all time butchered by a sloppy little kid. Now, the first seconds sound okay, you think “Damn, he’s good!” but then he already messes up the second chord. Then comes the actual solo.
I don’t want to be mean, but let’s just call it a first degree murder. Someone needs to practice his pentatonic scales a bit more. Sloppy.

Young kids and instruments
There is so much fail in this video, I don’t even know where to begin.
First of all, don’t do monologues if you can’t form a coherent sentence. If you’re camera shy, just start the damn song. But don’t do it, unless you can actually play guitar.

Metal goes acoustic 2
Some of you regular readers may remember a week or so back I wrote a post called Metal goes acoustic. You should also remember that it was fucking awesome.
Now, because everything good comes in twos (my testicles, Katy Perry’s boobs, and so on), I’m back with part two. What does part two involve? Well, once again it’s a Youtube user called broadcast2k9 and it’s another Machine Head song that has been covered acoustically. This time, the song is A Farewell to Arms taken from The Blackening album. The song is over 10 minutes long, so I hope you can take a 10 minute break from Facebook or Porn or whatever you’re doing to check out this great cover. You won’t regret it.
