Jasta and Wylde sitting in a tree…
There’s nothing new about the concept of Jasta releasing his songs over the interwebz as he’s done it before, but this new track is with Zakk Wylde so, check it out if you’re a fan.
Here’s some info I got from Blabbermouth because I’m way too lazy to research it myself:
“The Fearless Must Endure, a brand new solo track by Jamey Jasta, can be streamed [online]. The song, which features a guest appearance by Zakk Wylde, comes off Jasta’s solo album, simply titled Jasta, which is scheduled for release on July 26 via eOne Music. The CD will be made available in Europe one day earlier through Century Media Records.“

Weak Recap: Yes we can, bitch!
A few months ago, I had a dream. A dream that we could recap our weeks on Sunday without falling in the blog cliche of just making a list of some of our articles. And my creativity and my egomania had sex and came up with the offspring that is The Weak Recap.
Basically we recap the week by interviewing each other. It feeds our egos and it’s letting you know how awesome we’ve been the week before.
So now it’s my turn to interview NFL legend, influential guitarist and all-around amazing metal bloger, Simo. After the jump.
Black Label Society aren’t greedy
Zakk Wylde may need a shower… And a diet… But he doesn’t need yo’ money, yo. Because the upcoming Black Label Society album is available for streaming. All of it.
At least this is what a few sites are saying… But the link they’re all giving is this one, and it brings me to a movie soundtrack that looks like it comes from a flick so lame, that if you watch it, you automatically get bullied.
So, yeah, are people making fun of me or what’s up? I really wanted to find the correct link for the album so I can ignore it like I ignore all the other BLS releases.
Anyway, the album is called The Song Remains Not The Same (really, what happens to it? I’m intrigued!!!) and it features a lot of awesome metal stars like country legend John Rich, amongst others. It sounds REALLY interesting. I think AOL pulled it from streaming to do us a favor.
Oh well, check out the cover and track listing after the jump.
Weak Recap: We’re amazing
This is our fifth Weak Recap, which means we ran out of writers to interview so I’m back interviewing Guido. God dammit. At least old man river up there approves.
In case you aren’t familiar with this recap thing, it’s a way for us to whore ourselves interview each other by recapping the week’s news. Pretty cool, right? Wrong… It’s lame and self-indulgent but hey, at least it’s original. Most other sites just do basic lists. Blah, we do shit properly, yo.
Make the jump and if you’re truly bored.
You’ve got to be Shatning me…
William Shatner is working on an album with Ritchie Blackmore, Ian Paice, Zakk Wylde and Mike Inez. I’ll say it again, because I had to read it two times to believe it, also. William Shatner is working on an album with Ritchie Blackmore, Ian Paice, Zakk Wylde and Mike Inez.
Hey, April 1st is behind us guys, is this really happening?
I guess it is. According to Blabbermouth,
“Cleopatra Records has inked legendary actor William Shatner to a worldwide recording deal for a space-themed concept album entitled “Searching For Major Tom,” to be released later this year. Comprised of 19 “interpretations” of classic intergalactic rock anthems.”
